Catch A Book at West Sac Library

Hurrah! Joe's steel book sculpture, Catch a Book, was installed this week. It was great fun to watch people's reactions when they saw the 9-foot high book with the tumbling stack. You too can see the books at the Arthur F. Turner Library, 1212 Merkely Drive in West Sacramento. Literary quotes from a variety of authors representing the diversity of the region have been added. The book jackets present aerial perspectives of the rich agricultural fields surrounding the city. Waterborne paints were used with a UV, anti-graffiti clear coat.
